What are the applications of Dalian sandblasting processing technology

By using Dalian sandblasting processing, rust and other dirt on the surface of the workpiece can be removed. Sandblasting can be rented to treat castings, removing all the oil and oxide layers present on their surfaces, thereby improving surface smoothness and exhibiting the natural color of the metal, making the workpiece more aesthetically pleasing.


Sandblasting can achieve both the required cleanliness and roughness of the cleaned surface, increasing the adhesion of the coating on the basic surface. No matter how good the coating is, it cannot adhere well to the surface of the workpiece without surface treatment for a long time. The purpose of surface pretreatment is to clean the surface and generate the required roughness on the surface to lock in the coating.

1. Oil and rust removal, sandblasting can be used as a pre-treatment process for workpiece painting and plastic spraying, which can remove rust and other dirt on the surface of the workpiece and form a certain rough surface, thereby improving the adhesion of plastic powder and paint film.


2. For machined parts, the sandblasting process can remove surface burrs and make the workpiece more aesthetically pleasing.


3. For castings or heat treated parts, sandblasting can remove surface oil stains and oxide scales, improve surface smoothness, and leak out the true color of the metal, making the workpiece more aesthetically pleasing.


4. For stainless steel parts, different reflections or mattes can be achieved through sandblasting.


Confirm the suitable stainless steel sandblasting method based on the material and shape of the workpiece, such as roller type rolling operation, 360 degree rotating sandblasting operation, flat conveyor sandblasting operation, etc. The achievement of a good surface finish for you depends partly on the sand material you use. Mixing different sand materials in proportion may bring different effects to you, such as brightening the surface of our workpiece and saving sand material.


When sandblasting, being close to the machined surface of your component does not bring good results. And it wastes media (sand material). This is because the size of the working distance reduces the size of the sandblasting operation area, increases cycle time, and can easily crush the media (sand material), reducing its lifespan. This idea is somewhere in between, achieving a balance between your sand material wear rate and rate. Hand controlled suction and injection system, ranging from six to eight inches. When using direct injection system pressure, you should be 10 to 14 inches away. Please also remember that the closer you are to thin parts, the easier it is to cause them to warp, regardless of the sandblasting medium (sand material) you use. In addition to finding a suitable distance, avoid deformation of the sandblasting area.
